Bollsta Dolphin

Two ROV hangars on a newly designed and built platform in South Korea called Bollsta Dolphin were the most complex project of its kind at NAVIC. The ROV observation and operational system was equipped with an innovative Tension Unit, which prevented any collision with the platform when lowering the equipment even in extreme weather conditions.
In addition, the hangars were equipped with external water spraying systems to avoid the impact of high temperatures on the structure when burning excess gases released during drilling and extraction.
NAVIC team not only designed both hangars with their full equipment, but also participated in the fabrication of the structure at Navikon in Szczecin, supervising and providing technical support, and then supervised the transportation of finished products to Norway, where the final installation took place.
