Mud return line
The need to modify the mud return line required careful measurement of the existing steel structures below the drillfloor and then design of a new 16-inch diameter, ~25-meter-long steel pipeline. The challenge was to route the pipeline between the densely packed steel structures while maintaining proper gravity flow while taking into account the marine conditions.
